Wigan bus station work nears end
The new multi-million pound transport facility has been gradually taking shape since work began in July 2017.

Hide AdIt will also support the town’s economic growth by helping people get to everything Wigan has to offer, from jobs, shops and markets to restaurants and bars.
Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) has teased that more information, including an official opening date, is to be announced within weeks, and that the station is very much on track to open soon.
Alex Cropper, head of TfGM projects group, said: “It’s been fantastic to watch the progress that’s been made on the new bus station over the last few months.
“We’re working closely with our contractor VINCI and Wigan Council to make sure that construction is moving on quickly. We’ve also had valuable support from local apprentices, who’ve played an important role in making sure project deadlines have been met.
