A TV, door, curlers and flowers were among the casualties as a man went on a vandalism rampage.

Shaun Hilton, 32, of Brideoake Street, Leigh, stood before Wigan justices to admit criminal damage at Samantha Fazackerley’s house on July 22 and to assaulting Pc Simon Gardner on August 9. He was remanded on bail until his sentencing hearing on January 6.
