Body found near river
The body of a 25-year-old man has been found close to the banks of the River Douglas in Wigan, police have said.
Fire crews and police officers were called to Crooke Road, Crooke Village, just before 11pm last night (Sunday).
At this stage it is understood the death is being treated as non-suspicious.
